IMPORTANT: the latest code of EPIP-1 Patch Update is published

The latest commit including EPIP-1 Patch Update has been published in go-epik/master. You could follow this tutorial to update your knowledge nodes before Oct 8 15:25:00 UTC 2021.

In EPIP-1 Update, a new function is added to transfer all basic pledge from one knowledge node to another without waiting for 60 days. In EPIP-1 Patch Update, you will be allowed to assign a specific amount instead of transferring all basic pledge.

Hope you could benefit from this new function to avoid the loss of 60-day asset liquidity due to repeated pledges. The new function which will be alive at Oct 8 15:25:00 UTC 2021 looks like this.

epik client mining-pledge transfer <srcMinerId> <destMinerId> <amount optional>

• All basic pledge will be transferred by default if the amount is empty.
• The unit of amount is EPK.

If you haven’t updated your knowledge nodes to the latest version after Oct 10 15:25:00 UTC 2021, you nodes will be split into a fork network and won’t get further rewards in EpiK Protocol Main-net.
