IMPORTANT: EPIP-1 Patch Update

All EPKers,

EPIP-1 has been alive at Sep 26 15:25:00 UTC 2021 in EpiK Protocol Main-net. You could use the function of transferring the basic pledge from one miner to another now via the command as below.

epik client mining-pledge transfer <srcMinerId> <destMinerId>

As the proposal EPIP-1 goes into effect, EpiK Protocol Foundation has received a lot of feedback from the community. The more common one is that most EPKers hope to support the specific transfer amount in the new function of transferring the basic pledge from one miner to another, so as to avoid the loss of 60-day asset liquidity due to repeated pledges.

After fully communication with our core technical team, a patch for EPIP-1 to support the specific transfer amount in the new function will be implemented, tested and published very soon.

What You Have to Know

• The latest version of go-epik/master will be published at Oct 8 15:25:00 UTC 2021 and the tutorial will be published at the same time.
• Just like what we do in EPIP-1 Update, all knowledge nodes holders will have 3 days to update your own knowledge nodes to the latest version which is tagged as EPIP-1 Patch Update.
• If you haven’t updated your knowledge nodes to the latest version after Oct 10 15:25:00 UTC 2021, you nodes will be split into a fork network and won’t get further rewards in EpiK Protocol Main-net.
