WHO ARE THE DOMAIN EXPERTS?
These are proven experts in their respective fields with proven academic qualifications and industry experience that qualify them for such a title. They are primarily responsible for setting questions culled from their fields like arts, science, technology, and a host of other fields. Users of the Knowledge Mainland Application will attest to some questions they have been answering on the Application as cutting across the field above. These questions are examined by this category of people to limit errors and ensure the optimal performance of the Knowledge Mainland Application.
They perform other functions like the production and organization of the Knowledge graph data which is a major component of the EpiK Mainland Application. They also propose topics and form the map structure of the required data for the AI.
RESPONSIBILITY OF A DOMAIN EXPERT
The Domain Expert role is reserved for those with academic qualifications with a matching experience in their respective fields. This forms a basis as the AI is expected to be supplied with the best information, hence, only domain experts are able to upload data and acquire rewards.
● Domain Experts to define the data format of each domain;
● Domain Experts need to design the exam for each domain;
● Domain Experts need to check the quality of labeled data in each domain;
● They are responsible for publishing the sample of data in each domain.
REQUIREMENTS FOR. BEING A DOMAIN EXPERT
● Possess a comprehensive knowledge framework of a specific domain, and being able to organize and facilitate the domain knowledge graph;
● Be responsible for the quality of the knowledge graph data, under the review of the public community;
● Go through identity verification and background checks.
DOMAIN EXPERTS RIGHTS
Domain Experts have rights as guaranteed by EpiK Protocol in the EpiK ecology. These are;
● Only Domain Experts are able to upload data and acquire rewards;
● According to their respective contribution value, Domain Experts share a bonus pool of. 9% of the total number of the EPK produced daily. The total amount is 29859.84;
● Domain Experts can nominate others as Domain Experts candidates;
● Only Domain Experts can participate in the governance of knowledge ecosystem proposal in EpiK DAO. For example, Domain Experts can blacklist an unqualified Domain Expert.
